Sheleena's story

ok...i will 1st apologise and suggest you make a coffee....this could be long......

Sheleena was born in the now ruined City of Eldarath in Azshara and lived on the beach with her mother, father and sister.

She was a boystrous girl and spent most her days dividing her time between helping her sister study, watching the Sentinels train, and beating up the boys that thought they had a chance with her...

one day she was helping her sister study when the naga attacked the city. she fled the temple with her younger sister in tow, she then hid her sister in a small cave to the south west of the city and made her wait there while sheleena looked for their parents. sheleena made her way to the beach....when she arrived she saw total devastation....the great watch towers aflame or destroyed....many of the shorefront homes and buildings collapsing...and where her home was.....she saw her mother and father.

her father was cradling her mothers body, a naga had caused a fatal wound to her lower body.....her father had his sword near him on the ground, obviously they had tried to defend their home. running up to her father sheleena looked into his eyes, there she saw a broken man, with a broken heart. he pushed his sword into her hand his last words were to protect Cleoca and to run.....sheleena did as she was told..the memories of that moment still haunt her to this day...and she will never let go of the last time she saw her parents.

returning to her sister, she and Cleoca made for the forests of Ashenvale...there they roamed for days until one day a sentinel on patrol for Orcs found them....took them in, and gave them some hope. years past and Sheleena grew into a woman...her sister had become a full priestess of the moon and Sheleena decided to take up the glave of the Sentinel. heading first to what is now called Desolace for the trials of Cenarius, she passed the tests for entry, finding her art in the fires of battle Sheleena trained like she had nothing to live for, pushing her self harder every day...soon she burned out and was forced to take time away, she visited the world tree of Nordrassil and upon gazing at the great tree she found her heart at peace again. weeks passed and eventually she returned to Desolace and completed her training. soon after that the Silthid wars began.

Sheleena lost alot of friends in that war many of whom she had known for over a decade (there isnt much detail about the silthid wars...and its WAY too late at night for me to make it up ), as one of the handful of survivors of those terrible battles Sheleena moved up to Nordrassil to be with her remaining family. she never left the Sentinels and spent the next period of her life defending the great tree.....then the Legion wars came.....as the night elves avoided the orc wars that decemated Stormwind and the blasted lands...the temple sent agents to Lorderon to determin the strenth of mankind...Cleoca was a volunteer, much to Sheleena's pain she wanted to go and Sheleena knew she could not stop her.

Whilst this section is for Sheleena's story...the next events helped shape her life...even though it was Cleoca that was present.

Cleoca left upon an unmarked Ship for the northern coast of the eastern kingdoms, upon arriving the continent of Lorderon was mid-war with a full scale attack from the undead of the scourge.....heading east to study the source of this new aggressor she happend upon a small town named Darrowshire, the town had recently been attacked and the bodies lined the cobbles of the town square..as she was about to leave she heard a crying from nearby..there she found a young human girl..deciding that she shouldnt be left to die, Cleoca took her to the city of Lorderon. upon arrival the city was in flames and the scourge were crawling over the walls. realising the north was no longer safe.....Cleoca took the girl to the waiting boat and traveled home. a few weeks past and eventually they met with Sheleena in Nordrassil....once the young girl had calmed down and healed they discovered her name..........Avatryne...
